Course Cancellation and Refunds
NE Training & Assessment (NETA) is committed to fair and transparent fees and charges as well as the processing of refunds where applicable. It is a requirement and your responsibility that you understand the terms and conditions of the course before enrolling.
All students must declare they have fully read and understood our terms and conditions before completing enrolment process. Any refund request will be reviewed by NETA and cases will be individually assessed.
Deposits, payments and refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.
Once a deposit is paid for a course, an invoice is sent to the applicant for the balance of the course payment.
Full course payment means that the applicant’s place in the course is firm or secure if the applicant meets the course requirements e.g. like minimum age and any prior learning prerequisities.
Refunds (full payment less the deposit) are issued only within a cooling off period of two (2) days prior to course commencement if all the following have been met:
full payment of course has been received
the student sends written notice to NETA, within 2 days prior to course commencement about their intention to to cancel their course registration.
Refunds shall not be issued if the student:
changes their mind once course has been enrolled and commenced training
finds the course too difficult after the course has commenced
decides they no longer require the course once the course has started, for any reason, including:
the student’s employment status changes
the student’s personal circumstances changes including financial position, or family and health issues
discovers a course at a lower cost elsewhere — this is treated as a change of mind
has failed to complete the course within the designated period.
Refund Procedure
Send written notice via email to ross@netraining.com.au your intentions to withdraw your application and that your request a refund
NETA will approve your refund if the criteria listed above are met.
Refunds will be made via bank transfer to the nominated account within 14 business days.
What happens if a refund is not possible?
All courses can be deferred whereby training can be done at an agreed later date with written email notice of future agreed date. (where cancellation of the course is not allowed.)
